The National Minimum Terms and Conditions for the Employment of Registrars (NTCER) outlines the minimum employment terms and conditions for GP registrars.

The NTCER outlines:

  • remuneration
  • leave entitlements
  • superannuation
  • education release time
  • ordinary hours of work
  • indexation
  • public holidays
  • overtime.

Negotiating a contract can be difficult to do the first time around. Your Registrar Liaison Officer can also help you with any questions about contracts and pay, please get in contact with them if you have any questions before you sign your contract.
