If you are PGY2 or above when you apply for GP training, Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) may be relevant to you.
RPL allows for the recognition of previous clinical experience and could enable you to commence GP training in a community GP placement, reducing your training by up to 12 months.
For more information on RPL please review the following guide and policies and discuss with your medical educator if RPL is appropriate for your training pathway.
