During your training you will engage with the GP Synergy Research and Evaluation Unit.
The research unit conducts a range of research and evaluation activities. The unit is a major contributor to Australian and international educational research into GP training. These research outcomes also inform the education and training of GP registrars. The unit is very involved in translation of its research findings into GP Synergy’s educational program including curriculum and teaching content and the provision of individual reflective feedback reports for registrars.
Some of the ways you will engage with the unit include:
- participation in the Registrar Clinical Encounters in Training (ReCEnT) educational/research project during your GP terms
- completion of evaluations and other feedback activities
- if you are undertaking an academic term, the unit will help you develop your research application and provide support throughout the term
- if undertaking FARGP the unit is able to help you with your community project.
You can find out more about the unit and their research by visiting the Research and Evaluation Unit website.
